Job Requirements
- Own the P&L and deliver revenue, margin, cash flow, and unit economics targets.
- License & launch: secure approvals/permits; build safety/compliance & crisis playbooks.
- Run operations at scale: fleet planning, dispatch, maintenance; charging partnerships & network design.
- Grow demand: pricing, performance marketing, B2B partnerships (airports, real estate, corporate, hospitality).
- Raise the bar on CX: set SLAs (ETAs, on-time rate), NPS, VOC loops; reduce incident/churn.
- Build the team: hire and lead Ops, Growth, Finance, People, PA/Regulatory, Tech/Product leaders.
- Data-driven decisions: dashboards for utilization, contribution margin, cohort LTV, surge logic.
- Represent the company to regulators, utilities, city stakeholders, media, partners, and the Board
What success look like
- Compliant go-live on time; fleet utilization/on-time/cost per km on target; incident rates below threshold.
- Positive contribution margin and clear path to EBITDA breakeven.
- Tier-1 partnerships signed (infrastructure + corporate demand).
- High-performing leadership team operating via OKRs.
Skills & Experience
- 12–15+ years total; 5+ years as GM/CEO/COO with P&L in mobility/logistics/ride-hailing/last-mile or similar.
- Hong Kong or GBA experience: regulatory navigation, partnerships, hiring.
- Track record launching/scaling businesses with measurable profitability improvements.
- Strong grasp of public affairs/regulatory, safety/compliance, and crisis management.
- Fluent English; Cantonese proficiency strongly preferred for stakeholder work; Mandarin a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent finance/investor relations exposure is advantageous.
- Leadership: owner mindset, analytical rigor, low-ego collaboration, top-tier negotiation & comms
